CRONKITE, THE BAND
Cronkite is an indie rock band from San Francisco comprised of Jorge Taylor (guitar, vocals), Chris Denend (drums), Brenton Huang (guitar, keys) and Jack Pien (bass).
If you like your rock and roll guitar-forward with a melodic heart and a post-punk spirit (think Elvis Costello, The Replacements, Pavement, GBV, Spoon, and The Strokes), then we might be the band you're looking for.

SAY HELLO TO "SAY GOODBYE"
The songs on this EP were written and recorded by Cronkite, circa 2010. They’ve been waiting patiently since being put aside after Cronkite’s original bassist (Mark Daugherty, aka Spot) said goodbye to the band and we chose, in the wake of that setback, to start fresh with new material.
Thankfully, Chris Denend--Cronkite's drummer, recording engineer and trusty steward of the band's archives--recently saw fit to recover these gems and give 'em a proper shine up.
I like these songs, and we still a play a few of them live. For me they conjure up fond memories of "early Cronkite". Hope you enjoy them too.
